Maida flour, cream, and dried fruits are used to make Sohan Loghmeh, which is a traditional Middle Eastern sweet. It’s produced by heating a combination of water, milk, and corn starch until it solidifies. Ghee, saffron, cinnamon seeds, walnuts, and hazelnuts are added to give the consistency and delicate flavour and crunchiness that it is famous for. Traditional confectioners have been making Sohan loghmeh for generations. It’s crunchy and caramelized, and it’s delicious with milk, coffee, tea, or just on its own.
