Rustic Espresso Cup
I love coffee so these little espresso cups are a joy for me to make. These differ from my standard espresso cups in that they have a more rustic form. Each little ridge is made with deliberate opposite pressure while pulling the walls.
They can be used for a single shot and will also just hold a standard double shot. My popular white glaze is used for these little rustic cups. The speckle pattern comes from the iron particles in the clay beneath the glaze. Only during a very specific firing schedule do these wonderful patterns emerge.
